Default WTB - 2005 Yamaha FJR1300

I've been looking on eBay and it seems prices are higher now than they were in November..

Please post if you see a good deal on one. Local pickup is ideal; willing to travel upto about 150mi from NJ.

Thanks!

the '03? go for it dude. i think it's overpriced tho. i saw stock '05 bikes last november going for low $6K...miles less than 15-20K. i was hoping to find one this winter but no such luck.. prices are actually much higher now, i don't get it.

that is not a cheap bike as you already know that. Surprisingly there are not that many around this winter.

The only knock on the 03 is your legs get roasted from the heat. I think they changed it in 05 or 06 so that the heat is redirected so thats something to consider. I would keep looking places will want to get the 07's off the floor with the 08's comming in.

My frind just got an 08 Busa for like 10,300 from a dealer up in MA that was going out of business. Whats worse was they had 07 gsxr 600's going for 7100. I found out about 5 hours too late

Also do yo uwant the "automatic" or standard shift.

Tom
