Bondo - What bike did you have? i was there for the 19th, taking ART basic for my first track day.

Here's pics of me, maybe you've seen me

I will also be going for the Labor day weekend to Summit, I have an open spot on my 2 bike trailer if any one wants to carpool there together, then split gas, hotel or camping costs....

I might have both the TLR and TZ250 ready in time. The TLR is a little banged up. Got most of the body back together, fiberglass is curing and the bolt on parts all came in this week.
I have to bend the fairing stay back into shape and reassemble the bodywork tomorrow morning.
When I get to the track, I still need to have all of the lawn from Beaverun turn #7 removed from my wheels....Caught a lot of sod in the wheels on that crash.
Looking forward to this weekend.
Ken

Do you mean all of this?
Hit it with the weedwacker before you roll through tech.

Looks like ideal weather this weekend, enjoy!
I'm dying to get back to the track but I haven't been home on a weekend since early July.

I walked through your pit a bunch of times going to the TPM trailer. I 'm the slow guy on the Mille in TPM colors.
We were pitted across and over from you.
I remember you... you were doing pretty good out there.

Wow, two days of excellent riding! Despite hitting some holiday traffic on the way, it was well worth it. Got to the track around 9ish Fri night, met up with extreme78(Paul) and dropped off, then off to get some grub. Met up with Boris later on. Next morning, I can feel it was going to be a perfect day for breaking in a new bike. Get to the track, meet up with Paul, Kendal, Boris, and Ken, finish setting up, get our coaching assignments, I was assigned ART Basic w/Bill Sink which was perfect for A.never being on Shenandoah, and B. breaking in a new bike with 0 miles. Right after the riders meeting Red group was up first, being I had time before Art Basic I wanted to go out and see the line. Dave Gallo comes to the grid so I asked him if he could lead me around, show me the line...while everyone was still gridding up there was a few minutes yet and Gallo took me out for a sighting lap, this was a big help. At around the 3rd session everything started to click, not only getting the line and all my reference points...but getting used to the new bike which is a big difference from the sv. Bike feels real stable(especially when the slipper engages which is cool as hell,) and has power everywhere. Really just an enjoyable day of riding, coaching, and hanging out. Onto dinner where I give the # of people and my name, at this point Ken tells them to just put "Cakes." Head over to the bar, hanging out, when over the loud speaker yes you guessed it, the girl announces Cakes to which Ken corrected her and said no it cupcakes...to which she corrected it for everyone to hear...thanks Ken
Sunday was another day of excellent riding. Again the weather was perfect, the bike and I are bonding more, excellent time in the pits...even though Kendal is a paddock hog Big thanks to everyone and to TPM for an enjoyable w/e. Oh and congrats to Paul for getting the bump to Blue...he had a huge grin the rest of the day...good job!

The new gix in action

Definitely an excellent weekend again, great meeting some more of the SBA members at Shenandoah. I also had a great time finally getting to ride the TZ250. Made it for most of the weekend. A water leak caused an overheat and the bike went down after that.
I finished with the TLR and got in my final sessions of the weekend.
for congrats to Paul, great meeting you and your wife.
Also good to have met Borris and Kendal as well.

see everyone next time.
Ken
