F U C K NO !!!!! Rider ins. was hitting me 1467.00 a year full coverage for just the 1000. It was more for insurance than the actual yearly bike payment . The 1000 is a 1998, so I decided to drop the full coverage. Even though the bike is still like new.

There is a 15% discount on Autos if you were to bring your Homeowner to State Farm. Likewise, 10% for Renters, 12% Condo/Townhome, 8% Life Insurance.

you could through a group of kids on a play ground and hit a telephone pole and knock it down into a old folks home, catching it on fire and burning everyone inside, not to mention crushing the poor old bastard that was in his wheelchair watching Jepordy. Oh, and you servive of course and so does all the cripples you just made

Dont' forget the part where the noise from the exhaust wakes up the sleeping Godzilla who comes and destroys the city, because your of your stupid under-insured bike.
I have liability only from Rider, with the '00 GSXR 750 its $455/yr and the '82 Virago 750 is $340 something. In April, when I turn 21, the Virago will be right around 100 bucks flat, and the GSXR not too much more.
Yeah, it's shit coverage, and I'm sure their claims department moves slower than that guy on the fully-dressed Harley I always get stuck behind in the twisties, but I just keep praying I never have to use it...
I'm planning on get full coverage at some point from a more reputable insurance company, but for now, I can't afford it.

Holy Shit, as an Insurance Professional, I couldn't have said it better.
Please folks, go with the standard 100/300/50 or high limits, anything lower will be used in one mornings visit to the hospital, and the rest you will be paying for the next 20 years.

It's very easy to send someone else to the hospital or worse, kill someone even with a bike accident...a lot of people don't realize that they can be held liable for whatever ins doesn't cover, which can see astronomical figures, and you'll literally end up broke for the rest of your life. You(not you personally, but generally speaking) should make sure the coverage is good. Sure the bare minimum can get you on the road, but pray you never need to use it because it will not be enough. The quote I got from Rider was 1800, for the minimum coverage, they hear 1000cc its all over, even though it was an SV State Farm offered a drastically reduced rate(approx 1100 less!) than Rider with triple the coverage, for me it was a no brainer.

Yeah statefarm rules. I had full coverage on my 636 for 575 and my monster costs me about 945 I think. Love those guys, just wish my slower not as quick monster was slightly cheaper to insure.......
