Yep, and it's borderline illegal as far as db. restrictions.
FYI: Calabogie tests every bike at 2/3rds throttle prior to letting you onto the track. Then they check during the day to see WOT db. It would suck to drive 500mi and get 5 laps in and NOT crash. There were a few bikes that failed at WOT and were black flagged, not to return. Oh yes, one was a vintage bike and one was a EX500 with a V&H.....

okay, a little off topic but i was at walmart for 2-stroke oil & saw a db detector/measuring device in the auto sound aisle. i wonder how accurate they are? (i guess not too accurate if they're selling for cheap at walmart).
those cats that were black flagged, could they have re-packed their cans? (or is a re-jet or re-map involved in that too?)

They were asked if they had quieter exhausts, like you carry a loud pipe and a quiet pipe. You know if your pipe is too loud already, loud does not=more power (are you listening HD fans? Of course you are, you just ca't hear us)

I wanted an Akra but it's way too much....I like the Two Brothers, Pilot had that on the rr and I loved the sound...not to mention I like the coned ends on the new cans, it looks perfect on the R1's
Yea Joe it's an 06, I want Arata as well but $1300 is way out of my price range, I learned from the 6 not to over spend on shit cause you lose it all in the end.
I'll keep looking, I'm looking for Carbon fiber as well to minimize the heat.
I don't know about gutting the stock cans, I'm not into ghetto jobs on such an expensive investment.
