As much as I hate the mets being a phils fan, I really really really hate the freaking yanks....Yanks fans almost have this sense of entitlement that they HAVE to or DESERVE to be in the playoffs and run deep into them, but they forgot what made them so special in the late 90's.....Some superstars WITH great roleplayers.
Oh and so much for a subway series.......
And you know what really kills me....both SD and the dodgers were playing lights out the last week and a half and could NOT loose and kept the phils out of the WC then they both COLLAPSE in the playoffs, I know the phils would've drawn the cards and then had to play the mets and that would've been a NUTS series. But coulda woulda shoulda........Good luck getting to the ws with two starters out, that is just really bad luck.

The only reason the mets still have a chance is that they have been winning all season with their bats and the bullpen, and not with their starting rotation..
Sure it would be great to have hernandez and Pedro out there, but they've been getting the job done without them, too..

Ok i am a die hard yankee fan, but i hated the lineup they started in playoffs. Every year they just get one man on and wait until someone hits a homerun... It friggin sickens me, how did they get back on track this year? by manufacturing and producing runs!!! Bunting, stealing bags, defense, etc... Not this bullshit where the entire team is trying to pull the ball for a homerun.... The game they lost 4-3 they could have easily had that one run had they bunted with men on 1st and 2nd and no outs to move the runner along.... instead cano hits into a double play, and so much for that shit... I was ecstatic when they finally put melky in...thats why i don't even care if they get rid of A Rod because I want some quality role players who can do everything/ and all the little things... not players who have no fuckin idea how to bunt

im going for Oakland all the way !!! 
mets are gonna lose, they got to much of a high expectation. they think they got the hottest team around right now, 22 players are hot. but are not taking into consideration that the other teams that are in it also have a hot team.
i would be rooting for the mets (the alternate NY team) but im not because i hate their fans who never shut up, they keep rubbing shit in your face over and over and over. the other day i was wearing Canos jersey and 4 kids were laffing at me, saying yankees suck and get a real Rivera jersey, im like hey assholes its Canos jersey.
not to mention i seen the percentage rate of Met fans grow by atleast 30% this year because they do have an outstanding season record the real fans love them weather they lose or win, others love them when their winning and hate them when their loosing, its pathetic. NOW everybodys a Met fan.

this may very well be true, but it isn't because the Yankees are no longer in it.
i noticed the percentage rate grow bigger by atleast that 30% when they were a little more thru half the season, when the Mets had a 21 game lead in the national league east over the Phillies and 27 game lead over Atlanta and the Marlins and Nationals didnt even have a prayer. they were the talk since mid season that their gonna go to the world series and thats when i noticed the percentage rate go up
