Default I did it

Found out some good news this week, going into 2008 my goal was to finish top 5 in a novice class in WERA so I could advance to expert in 2009.

Come June I was actually in contention to go after 3 championships, unfortunately I threw all hopes out the window when I highsided in the Heavyweight Solo race lap 14 at beaverun end of june. It happens, you live and learn. Still was able to salvage some points and make it despite competing in less than 1/2 the regional sprint races. I'm looking foward to 2009 to run with people that are stupid fast, I hope to learn a lot from them and go for a podium finish end of 2009. I'm kinda close laptime wise, gotta kick it up a notch. Kinda cool to look back, I remember back in 04 after getting into trackdays I told myself one day I want to race in an AMA race, 1 - 2 yrs that dream could become a reality.
