Not so long ago I shelled out some cash for a new exhaust system (hell of a deal I couldn’t pass up). It’s a full Yosh RS3 stainless system that I knew I’d need for my TLR track project. Now with some time on my hands I’ve been pondering a few other ideas…

Such as? You ask…

The TLS will get the rear section of the new system returning it to its roots as a 2-2. The extended mid-pipes that come with the TLR will give the TLS and even sportier and more aggressive look (or so I imagine).

The TLR will in turn get my existing 2-1 Yosh Ti TRS system. It will match up to the front section of header I will be receiving. My 2-1 started life as a TLR header so I know I can make all these changes since the front header section is the most important when swapping these systems and I’ll have both types (radiator clearance issues).

I figure the 2-1 will be better suited for the track as the risk of screwing the system is cut in half in a mishap. It also sheds some weight from the porky pig of a bike.

Only small issue will be the need to fabricate the needed hangers… But I’ll see what I can do

I’m at work… Bored out of my skull… Thought I’d share some of my lunacy.
