Default New track in upstate NY

NY Safety Track

About 2.5 hours from North Jersey, in Davenport NY. Opening May 2013 is what they say, TPM is supposedly going to be there, and apparently Billy and Glen were involved in the design of the track.

Front straight, a little under 1/2 mile it says

Mm hmm

Its meant to be a "training facility" hence the name, like NCBIKE. No racing in the short term, just track days and training I guess. But good enough for me to have a new track within reasonable distance.

Yup...to practice, so you can get better at racing...
Track day will help your racing....

Left turn 1 nice. Not too many tracks we ride with a left turn 1. Beaver was the only one I can remember and Pocono.

Shouldn't they wait a little for the pavement to cure?

If its done right there is almost is no "cure" time. Ever notice they open up highway lanes shortly after they pave, but the process up to the paving seems to take forever? This was the issue with Summit...they did almost no prepping.

They talked about some new "special" polymers they were using for this tracks surface. Hopefully that means lots of grip

Anyway......

Hopefully they used whatever they used for Bogie...no cracks between the harsh winters and then summer.
