Keep your head up, look through the turns where you can, use peripheral vision to scan the road for any obstructions.

Always look to where you want to go and the bike will follow. Keep your head up and always look through the turn. once you are through that turn, look for the entrance of the next turn. Target fixation can be a big problem if you don't get past it. Practice, practice and more practice. I've been riding motorcycles since I was 7. Thats 31 years. I learn something everytime I go out. As my grandfather used to tell me, " Any day you don't learn something new is a wasted day." Also, use this bit of advise, Go slow to go fast. It's the best thing I ever learned doing track days.
Ride safe.

As a new rider (took MSF course in early october, got a bike a couple weeks later), I came to that conclusion on day one and it is still my conclusion. I think every rider will tell you the same thing though, no matter how many years or decades under their belt. Every day is a new day with new situations.

Once you believe you know it all, they better have paid you a few million and you better be riding around crying while holding the flag......
