Just a FYI, hanged would also be correct.

I'm hoping that once he's actually dead, some of the iraqi's that were holding onto the belief that "it's not over" will see he's dead and actually come to the realization that times are changing, boosting support in a regime change rather than still supporting him because it's possible this is all a trick to test their loyalty.

It's not easy to sway one's belief that they've been brainwashed with since birth but hopefully that will be the case.

Well, I for one applaud the Iraqi government of being at least environmentally conscious enough to not waste the electricity required to zap him. Hanging is perfect IMHO. More curious to see how long it takes to get him into the noose.
