2002 883 Sportster speedo / odo not registering. Diagnostics not throwing any codes. Searched the online forums, seems to point to a failed VSS. Managed to get to the VSS (not a simple task). Cleaned out the metal shavings that are attracted to the magnet.
Re-installed, no-joy. Will have to order a replacement part. Still unable to trace the wiring that leads to the connection to the wiring harness from the VSS.
