Correct if just a taller heel. The entire sole needs to be higher. My current boots are worn out and due for replacement but kinda similar to these. They allow for the foot peg, some height and traction. Have worked great for the past 2.5 yrs

Absolutely correct on seat width, GSXR's are more narrow then other bikes I sat on, ie: F4I. Another good pointer for twisted to keep in mind.
