The fundamentals on dirt are the same as street. The fine points of front vs. rear brakes are huge though. Just remember, don't get too crazy with details, some of what you end up practicing alone will be wrong and have to be corrected. Riding in an open empty lot is good too.

Yes, you will countersteer in the MSF courses. In fact, you probably already did, you just don't know it.
