Thanks everyone!

I've heard mixed things about the old michelins, but the new power ones which just came out this year rock! This season I've been looking to jump off the pirelli bus and try other alternatives, mainly because I'll be buying tires trackside this year at race event and no longer through TPM for convenience. Trackside pirellis are expensive as hell at race events! Tried out the michelins last weekend when I was riding my friends 06 R6 and love them, stiffer sidewalls so I get a lot more feedback, and awesome wear. Out of a medium rear I got 4 practice sessions, two 16 lap solo races, and three more practices before it was shot! If I didn't get cold tears on saturday no doubt it would last even longer. Grip was pretty consistent through their lifespan. Right now I have a C compoud (hard) on the bike, 1 day at shenandoah and it still looks new! Plus a set of michelins is just a few $$$ cheaper for me vs. pirellis from TPM. Plus if I keep stepping it up and can earn some contingency on them too - we'll see!

Yea the bike will have the TPM orange on it, I have some vinyl sheets which I am going to put on to meet the requirements. I just hate the orange color so I wanted to take some shots beforehand!
