On my F4 i've mis shifted and caught the middle of the gear and it felt like i was in nuetral.. but yea its either ur clutch cable, ur clutch, or ur gear box ... if that narrows it down lol.

Well the one thing that always stays the same is the tension in the clutch cable. It never feels any different know matter how the bike is acting.
