FWIW... my Sv650 was kicking ASS at Beaver Run this weekend. I had a few ppl on inline 4's tell me they couldn't catch me in the straights until i was on the brakes (I brake WAY too early always cuz I'm new). ...a full system Yoshi tri-oval and 520 conversion +2 is all u really need to make the SV a track day golden child. I see more SV's at the track than any other single model. But...then again I'm biased. MASSIVE fun in the corners and holds her own on the straights.
