I wore my dock martin steel toes while riding for years and never had a problem with them even during my few body on the pavement advantures. HOWEVER, now that I'm on the track I'm using Sidi's and I have to say I wish I had bought a pair years ago. Very confortable and great protection. Well worth the little bit of extra money.
