Are you responsible for a rider with a permit?
I was just wondering how much responsibility you have if you are riding with someone with a permit? Can you get a ticket for his actions? Long story short One of my friends (who is a good rider) brings someone who only has his permit and he sometimes rides out of hand both for the ride and his ability. Would I be responsible in anyway for his actions?

No.
Also FYI, NJ has passed a law that no longer requires a licensed rider with the one on a permit. The rider on the permit can only ride in daylight hours, no freeways, and no passengers. |

I am very intrigued by the new law but was unable to find it any place. Do you have a link to the new law? All I found was the "old rules" http://www.state.nj.us/mvc/Licenses/Motorcycle.htm |
It is passed, just how they 'implement' it, ....................................

yeah I found it thanks.... They can only ride alone if they are at least 21 years old. I also like the fact that you have to take the test on a bike over 231cc no more little scooters :busa:
