Speedo looks like it maxes out.....think he gets a little more according to the tac.

Those digi-speedos are inacurate by about 12% or more on the top end. That bike can't reach 185 in stock form to my knowledge, that speed's more like Busa territory. The bike was probably hitting more like 170 when the tach still had a bit more to go which would bring it up to about 173 or 175...but it's still fuggin fast!

Kurts1000RR 01-18-2006 12:05 AM

I get nervous passing 150. But I guess its all the same after that. I was sorta suprised when I didnt travel back in time. Go figure.:runaway:

CBRBob 01-18-2006 12:12 AM

Ahh, back in the day when I used to crack 170 every night on the way home from work on 287.............

High_Revs_17 01-18-2006 12:21 AM

My bike topped out at 130 so I was used to hitting that after a while. But it sucks to glance over and watch your buddy on a 1k roll up to you at that speed, give you the finger, then take off up to 170 like you were standing still.

Call State Farm, they give discounts on multiple policies if you insure your auto with them as well.

Call them anyway...I've heard Rider's rates are much higher than other companies these days.
