Glove recommendations
I think I will be getting myself a new pair of gloves this year. I had a pair of JR gloves but have a hole forming in them, so I will be back to using my moto gp gloves full time. I realy like these gloves but will def need a new pari soon and wanted to see what others recommended.
I was/am hoping to keep it around 100, I researched the alpinestars gp or sp 1 and 2 (the models that are around 100 bucks) and heard they arent that good as far as durability. So any other good suggestions. Also how they are sized. I usualy need an xl but the moto gp's I needed a 2XL. tom |
I like Held Phantoms but they cost more then 2X's what you want to spend.

Same goes for the Held's..

+1 I love my Held gloves! They are worth the $$.

You guys have the phantoms too?
Also how does their sizing run? I would want to look around to see if adealer has them to see how they fit me. Tom |
I had the galaxy which lasted about 3 years.. Then the next go around I went with the akira

held phantoms are the shit:) expensive but worth the money,as for sizes mesure ur hand around and check with their size chart,I did that and they fit like a ...glove :)

My first pair of Held's were the Akira's, Good gloves. I crashed in them and they protected my hands.
Second and current pair are the Phantoms. My second pair only lasted two years. The velcro strap at the wrist wore through the kangaroo palm. The next pair of phantoms was redesigned to prevent this problem. I were a size 10 held. Get them tight since they will break in a bit. |
nice sounding gloves!!! with a kangaroo palm too-nice and soft!
