Do you know if tunes bikes to race fuel or does he still like to stay away from tuning and not adjusting/mapping the power commander?

They'll first get a base line with pump fuel, then you can put in race fuel and they'll use different maps and see which one works best. Call em up tomorrow morning. Check my dyno thread in the dyno forum, shows the progress and where they were able to clean up the curve.

I'll check out your thread now.
Thanks

Hey Omar do you guys do any tuning for a YEC ecu just curious, no power commander.

DeFran 09-16-2011 09:43 PM

Thanks Omar but I ended up going to Markbilt after braking in the motor at the track day at njmp yesterday.
Ended up with 82 hp on 100 oct pump gas on a 05 SV 650

Luis has tuned the Kawasaki race ecu's and Triumph kit ecu so I'm sure the he can do the Yamaha one also as long as you have whatever cable and software or anything else needed to talk to the ecu.

82hp...not to shabby Bart. Good luck with it.

Thanks Joe I just hope it doesn't blow the eff up!
