STEP MONSTER
 

So lets say you have a step monster that is a real asshole. Now lets also say that you no longer have your father around. And you told your father that that you would watch to see she is ok after he is gone, with that said he knew you couldn't stand this bitch. So you help her out when she calls for help, and sometimes offer help before she asks. In return she screws you over every chance she gets. How bad would it be to just blow her off?

F that...be gone with her.

Let her go....

Drop her.

You can decide When and IF its urgent enough to get involved with her BS and if she doesn't calm down, it might as well be never.

Sounds like a tough situation. Does she knowingly screw you over? Is it being done in a malicious/manipulative way? Or does she not know that her actions or lack there of are affecting you? Ever try talking it out? Hard to offer any advice without knowing any specifics(as thats your biz.) G'luck man.

I have a step-monster too. She's been around for about 20 years or so. After the first 3-5 years of trying to do the right thing, I walked away from it. It wasn't worth it to try and make her happy, or my father for that matter. It is what it is and I chose to not be part of the "is".

You set the tone. You decide when and if her requests are reasonable and whether or not you need to her be the one to help her when she wants something done that she's perhaps too lazy to do herself.
