CD accounts

what you all think of them
i got a savings account at ing with 3.3% and another one with hsbc with 3.75% but i have been looking into CD accounts and 1 year are at around 4.2% 4.3% and the penalty is only 3 months of interest if anything
i have never actuallyplayed around with them so i am looking for some info.

thanks

my buddy angie works at a bank and she told me that CDs are NOT FDIC insured because they follow the stock market (or something along those lines)

well its like playin russian roulette with your money. whether or not youre gonna get it all back or any back is the luck of the draw.

pmdez 09-22-2005 03:56 PM
