Oil change

I am looking to change my oil for the first time. I have a 2003 ZZR 1200. Any helpful hints or ways to make it esay for a newbie?

Buy the service manual for your bike, it'll tell you everything you need to know.

I can help you out if you want. Just give me warning in advance when you want to do it, and like Rob said - buy a service manual.

Not to take anything away from Rob as I am sure he will do a great job, but changing your oil is routine maintenance that every bike owner should learn how to do. Get a shop manual for the bike like everyone has said and give it a go.. it is pretty simple.

Remember to put the oil drain plug back in before adding the fresh oil.
