Looks nice john! Were the stock brakes on your bike not radial? What are the benefits of this upgrade?

FDNYDANO18 05-13-2009 07:55 PM

No one is commenting cause they (and I) are all jealous and hate you now ;)......:moocow:

Looks sweet....btw

That's definitely one of the more worthwhile upgrades. Make sure you order a spare lever for your spares kit, not often someone is willing to part with one of those in the event you need one.
Nice purchase.
I would like to grab one of those myself. I bought one for my TZ250 and I loved it.

What does this do for you?

NYCSTRIPES 05-14-2009 09:16 AM

Much better brake feel.

John712 05-17-2009 05:03 PM

Feels good, I bled the master then the calipers. But being I never installed a full Brake system like this I wasn't sure if the hose should be longer or shorter.

JimRBlue 05-17-2009 06:18 PM

Long as they don't bind up I would think you would be good.. Also.. little too long sounds better than too short.

John712 05-17-2009 06:20 PM

Okay, I got it all together, bled the master then the calipers. no air bubbles ETC. Checked for leaks and no leaks. But as I was double checking I noticed that where the hose goes to (NOT THE MASTER BLEEDER) on the master is loose. No fluid coming out of it. But is it supposed to be loose.? LOOSE AS IN SPIN A LITTLE.?

No no, I'm not sure were talking about the samething. The hose will spin on it, but where I put the hose onto that piece on the master, that is loose

JimRBlue 05-17-2009 06:30 PM

Long as the tube is the same diameter as the nipple.. (insert punn here) I would think that you would be fine. What did the specs call for? While a clamp or tie may help, I would not want to do anything that the instructions / specs did not call for
