im laying in bed, on vacation and my house phone rings, i look at the caller i d and it says miami fl 786-358-6900. i said oh shit its my mother ( shes in florida ) i say hello the a guy asks for john valenti, i say speaking. he says john valenti im greg tingle or timble or some weird last name.

but continues to say hes a debt collector trying to collect a $300 debt in my name that i failed to pay back in june of 2009. now before i got divorced brenda was paying all the bills. but upin my divorce i had to get a credit report to see if im missing anything, and i wasnt. but i asked the guy $300 for what? what accoubt and account number. he gave me the account number then said the name, public service electric and gas.,

i said what? i work for pseg. and that was it, i got hung up on. so i call mike at work, collection supervisor explain to him the situation and give him the account number i was given. he says thats not even a legitimate account number with PS. but he looked further into my account now with pseg and im in good standings.

he said hes gonna forward it to julio and also to newark for them to do some investigating. as of now he said its a big scam and be careful.
