Doesn't matter. Figure about $1,000 - $1,400 a weekend.

TPM's GPmoto Premeir days were a perfect mix of a trackday and racing. Not sure why they stopped them. I'll assume it wasn't profitable.

Say you do 5 races then the prices break down as follows:

Race 1: $75
Race 2: $50
Race 3: $40
Race 4: $40
Race 5: $40
Total: $245

Then you have the trackday on the Friday before. Figure that is about $140.

Now you're up to $385

So assuming you run a half decent pace you will burn through minimum 1 set of tires at $385 a set. Let's assume you have some take offs for the trackday and the cycle continues for the next weekend so you only spend money on an additional 1/2 set.

New total is $962

Now you gotta sleep somewhere and generally camping isn't for everyone. Let's also assume you race with a friend and split a hotel for Thurs. Fri. Sat. at $90 a night.

New total is $1,097

But you have to eat right? So let's say you don't eat a lot so you only spend about $15 a day which is possible but tough to do with a group of friends. Plus you gotta have beer right? Let's say $25 a day.

New total is $1,172

Then you have gas. Figure you split with you buddy on driving down so each spends about $80. Then you need to fill your bike everyday. So figure $20 a day for the bike which is $60.

New total is $1,312

So there you have it. And that is being a bit conservative because track distances vary and you may spend more on misc. stuff.

Didn't mean to leave you out Omar, and it's not restricted to just 2 wheel machines, then again you were on 2 wheels in a gokart too.

Ant.. the accountant in you will never go away!

You could also just race Enduro's
Entry fee.. = 5 or 6 hours of racing - $40/$45
Gas for Bike - $20/$30
Gas for car/truck - $80/$100
Tires - $120/$140 a set(you get at least 4 races out of them) so divided by 4 = $30 a day
Food - I like to eat a lot so say $40/day

So say $210 a weekend if you drive by yourself and go down to the race the morning of...
Ask gallo... he'll tell ya!

OK, so now your tired and hungry since you have no money for food on sunday and Rita's not there to give you cookies.
You have to skip your last race because your tires are completely shot.
Then you get stuck on 95 three miles from the rest stop because you dont have enough for gas...

Now you know why I refuse to travel in your vehicles...
