How hard is it to install a set of these for someone who has never done any brakes before...ever?
|
no its easy.. jsut dont get thebrakefluid on plastcis
|
it's not that hard but there are a few tricks, probably better done with someone whose done it once or twice, but i'm sure u could manage. and as for not getting any fluid on the plastics, screw that, don't let it touch anything and if it does clean it fast.

Right, just DONT USE DOT5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It will make you have to rebuild the whole brake system. Use a high temp DOT3 or 4 or 5.1 |

Not that hard at all, just need a few simple tools, and a torque wrench. Have a bucket of water and some rags handy, if you spill any brake fluid on plastics or paint quickly rinse/clean them off as brake fluid will eat up paint if left on it.
I have installed and completely bled a my front brakes by hand. It's not impossible, but it is a little tricky, just need to be patient. |
