How do you know it's not accepting cookies?
|
i'd recommend using ie since it's the global standard
i don't know what version you have, the pics below are of ie v7 on the menu bar, choose TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS, PRIVACY tab, lower the setting ACCEPT ALL COOKIES (pics 1,2) also delete the browser history & everything else (pic3) exit the browser and start it up again then try the tax website - good luck! http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...untitled01.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...untitled02.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...untitled03.jpg |
You dont want to accept all cookies by default.. Scary.

What a great way to steal someone's identity... Online Tax software!
How many keyloggers can you load into IE at once? :roflmao: |
Pete,
Print Screen to capture the entire windows desktop, Alt-Print Screen to capture just the current active window. Open up MSPAINT, click Edit --> Paste (CTRL-V or SHIFT-Insert) viola! Nothing special needed to do screen captures, for the most part. BadKitty, Really cant help your cookie problem. Personally I use TaxAct, which is completely free for federal returns. State of NJ you can do online with the state and its rather painless.. Not sure if NY offers something similar. |
I use turbotax free thru my brokerage house. Cookie prob has been fixed, no thanks to you guys! grrrrrrr. NO COOKIES FOR YOU!!! now y'all will have to be satisfied with CAKES!

What was it?

I was using the Computer Associates security suite that I get for free from Roadrunner and it was conflicting with the firewall that XP uses. I deleted the CA firewall and all was good in the world again!
