Need new chain and sprocket info

my buddy has a 1997 honda F3 he needs a front and rear sprocket and a chain to match , he would like drop a tooth or add teeth , he is looking for a lil more TQ but still be able to cruise at 80 any info would be appreicated on tooth configuration and chain type. the bike will be kept outside if that matters for the chain , i also need a good place to order it from , thanks guys

Since your in Middlesex county I would suggest Monmouth Cycles in middletown. A DID chain and steel Sunstar sprockets will last the longest. If the bike is kept outside then the chain needs to be kept lubed otherwise it will rust no matter what brand you buy.

Going down one in the front will be fine. Leave the rear sprocket the stock size.
