New Laptop

1 Attachment(s)
Just picked up a Dell XPS M1530

Intel Core Duo T9300 Proc. (2.5ghz)
4GBs Ram
160GB 7200RPM SATA HD
LED backlit LCD Screen (It is rediculous)
Win. Vista SP1 (Not as bad as I thought)

Heres my new desktop...I've been messing with themes and dock options. Very customizeable. I seem to like vista so far after switching from XP SP2.

Anyone else have any cool desktops?

Seems very Mac like.

That thing sounds like a beast. I want to swap out my 5400 hd for a 7200, I think it's the slowest thing on my machine.

Here's my desktop for June. I change it around every month.

Cool red gun theme I like that. I have yet to run any crazy programs on it other than the web cam and cool pictures. I'm trying to find a way to get Daemon Tools Pro Installed on here but for some reason it doesn't seem compatible with Vista.

I was debating the 7200vs5400 when I was building this and heard the 7200 was loud and hot....but after 2 days I haven't noticed either of these problems.

I'd rate the computer so far a 9.5 out of 10.

Reason being is that the finishing isn't 100%. (some tiny gaps between connecting parts etc etc) stuff you wouldn't notice unless you put iit under a microscope.

I think heat was the major reason they didn't initially offer my laptop (macbook pro) with a 7200 rpm option. It heats up like an oven as is.
