I would think the bottom left, but he still needs to slide more off the bike on the inside.

Do I win a prize?? :)

No. Look at the description of the one next to it...Note the degree of angle difference ;)

DougZ-

you are corret !! None of them are the RIGHT way.. But a combination of top right and bottom left is the right thing..

OBJECTIVE in BODY POSTION in a TURN:
I maximize the SPEED of the bike in the turn without scrificing the learn angle of the bike. So, with that being said. You want to hang off the bike and change the center of your gavity. AKA the picture in the top left. But !! You don't want to be a big parachute (like Glen Goldman) because it slows you down. BUT !! you don't want to twist back under the screen liek the bottom LEFT... (because your center of gravity is WRONG again. )

Get it ?

Joe, in the 3rd picture (top right picture) rider hanging off below the bike.

it says doing that while your knee is down is NOT COOL. but when i did the GP MOTO in the Poconos a coach said thats a better way of doing it. less lean of the bike but hanging off the bike a lot more is better. basically whats shown in the picture is what he was doing while i was following him. whats up with that..? i didnt attempt to try it or change the was i feel comfortable on the bike but whos wrong here..? feed back please.

Whover wrote the caption says "it's not cool" SO...

Hang off like the top right photo while tucking in
as close as you can.

Unless you're on the brakes,
THEN rise up and act like a parachute.

lrntolive 06-18-2006 02:24 AM

Would someone clarify which one is correct on this? :banghead:

I personally feel whichever is more comfortable for the rider is best, although I'd say the top center picture is definitely something you do not want to do.

I think I'm more in-between the top right and bottom left image, which is what is most comfortable for me.

But, if one of them is correct, would someone please say which one it is?

Thanks!

he says "its not cool" cause the dude in the pic doesnt need to be leaning off that far given the lean angle of that bike (he is obviously not going very fast.

just listen to lee....

and then do the opposite of whatever he tells you if you want to go fast:lol:
