WARNING: Morris, Warren, Sussex, Hunterdon Co. Riders
As of very recently word on the street is that a certain group of bike thieves has moved into our area away from the urban parts of east NJ to avoid the heat. They just don't steal randomly, they have orders to fill regarding certain make & model bikes with new paperwork already processed to match, and they're surveying potential victims as we speak. They specialize in storage dwelling entry, meaning locked garages aren't a problem. Do not leave your bike unattended at any period of time if you live and ride in these areas, and if it's garaged move it elsewhere until you can further secure the bike and garage door. This is no joke, it's real, and it's already here, don't find out the hard way, keep your theft ins. paid up and your eyes peeled.

Ron, its great that you're looking out for the fellow riders. Please understand if you're going to say that a certain group of bike theives are targeting a certain area, alot of people are going to want to know more bout whats going on. Who is this certain group of people? I hope the people behind the info are doing something about it, or worse, aren't involved(like the firefighter dude in that theft ring.)

The targeted areas are south and west of you guys, a diameter from Warren Hills to Dover and everything within that diameter, this includes any bike nights within that spot as well. |
