So you have parts to be replaced?

You need an estimate?

Not sure what you are asking here.

Wow this kid must have hit his head pretty hard.:(

Does State Farm require a "real business" or will I do?

Sorry that was vague. I crashed my bike. They took bike to car body shop in Morristown that doesn't work on bikes. The rep didn't have a shop to recomment and said I can go to shop of my choice. The esimator still has to come and evaluate the damage. I need to get it somewhere to fix damages and not occur more storage fees. Hope that clears things up.

Normally the insurance company provide a list of shops/companies that will come and assess the damage can they not give you one?

Find out if I can help you out Sean - I'm just south of Morristown.
Where did they take it to? Mesler's? Morristown Auto Body?

No storage fees here.....and I can pick it up.

I will give them a call to see if it is ok for you to work on it. Thanks

How badly is it damaged? Is it just some light cosmetic stuff or do you expect it to rack up enough damage for them to total it? Was the frame scratched/marred/gouged or damaged in any other way? Even a minor ding to the frame will result in most ins. companies totally the bike.

See if they will just cut you the check instead. Sometimes the insurance company will asses the damage, and cut you a check. You can then figure out if you want to fix it or not.
