There could be a few reasons. The frame is a simple chuck of aluminum that Kawi welds up in house. The forks are sources from Kayaba which also has more intricacies inside of it. Probably takes a lot more time to fabricate all the pieces and assemble a set of forks than it takes a machine to cut, bend and weld up a few aluminum castings for a frame. ;) |
