49cc Panterra Retro
 

Hey guys, I have a 4-stroke 49cc scooter that I putz around and one day it just wont start upon turning the key. The start wont spin when pressing the start button (yes, I have the brake lever pulled in) The battery is fully charged, gas in tank, and oil, but one day as I was pushing the start button and trying to start it, I decided to use the kick start at the same time and for some reason everything just went kaput...it goes through the cycle and would see air blow out of the exhaust but it just wouldnt catch or start. It just wouldnt turn over, the lights wont go on when I switch the start either, I even jumped started it with my truck just to make sure there is constant power but with no luck. I checked the fuses and fuel line too.

Upon further research I found out that this particular engine is actually a chinese copy of the the Honda CRF70 engine, I have no idea why they did that though...maybe emissions reasons....
