New Tow Vehicle

Was time to say good bye to the TB and pick up this new bad boy, 08 Silverado. First things first, bed liner and a hard cover for the bed. The TB was a great truck that gave me 122,000 solid miles, but its time for some new fun :ride:

Ripp53 08-25-2008 09:13 PM

I was waiting to see who would be first...wasn't a matter of if, just a matter of when :flip: :roflmao:

Ant 08-25-2008 09:23 PM

Nice dude. Hopefully it's just as comfy as the TB to nap in.

wcrbikemike 08-25-2008 09:26 PM

You won't be able to slide away too easily in traffic this time. ;)

Watch me

FDNYDANO18 08-25-2008 10:11 PM

Congrats! Joe. Best of Luck. If you go by yourself now you can just put your bike in the back. So much better on gas than towing.http://www.triumph675.net/forum/imag...ies/13/tow.gif

High_Revs_17 08-25-2008 10:16 PM

That big soon to be added SBA sticker on the back will be a dead giveaway on your next trek to WCW.

Now is the time to buy a SUV/Truck due to the money GM is losing and the slow SUV/Truck sales across the nation.

Nice truck.

Employee discount?

RCM78 08-26-2008 07:15 AM

Very nice!!! Good luck!
You may want to rethink the hard bed cover. Sometimes it's a nice option to be able to put the bike in the bed.

Check out access toneau covers...

Oh definitely, has to be a removable hard cover. Soft covers offer no security so I'm looking to stay away from that. Jimmy gave me a link to http://www.foldacover.com/ something like this. That access roll top looks good too...and it locks which is a plus +...nice.

Very nice, good luck!

lateapex 08-26-2008 09:09 AM

Good luck with it, Cakes.

Try the do it yourself roll on bed liner stuff. I used it on all my trucks. I found it had better grip then the bed liners and you can paint over it.

I also used it on the tank of my R6.

interesting.... great idea.... hows that on the knees of your leathers?

lateapex 08-26-2008 10:11 AM

After I painted it there was some extra grip on the tank but after I cleaned it with Honda spray it was like the old painted tank.

Nothing sticks to Honda spray....

Sue 08-26-2008 10:14 AM

Sweeet ride Joe!! Congrats and I'm sure Jim's gonna be a little jealous too. Hopefully a truck for Jim too in the near future.
