Well it's been a week since the wreck at Summit for me....and I'm starting to heal up my toe is still F--ed up and it still hard to walk but otherwise coming along. So tonight I finally opened the garage and acessed some of the damages and figured people would enjoy a few pics.....so here you go:

Overall not too bad considering the speed. Although enough that I don't think I'll be back on the track till VIR in July and definately getting PT with Glen.

Wow dave hearing you talk about it, and seeing the pics are 2 different worlds. I wouldn't hold out to long on that toe. There is no way a girl will want to go to bed with you and have your toe touch her. :lol:

Dave, Go see the Dr. about the toe. I mean, right now.

You'd be surprised how much balance is provided by that little piggy.

Heal up fast. Recovery time sucks. Busted toes and scraped up skin are a real pain to recover from, as is any injury. I had 2 busted toes with stitches in one toe and made balance and getting around tough. Gel insoles in my boots helped at the track.

WTF fuck happend to you....?
BTW if you need omse extra nuts and bolts for the gix i might have some extras in the garage ...

Look at the bright side if the toe falls off...The high heel pumps will at least fit you better.

Heal up quickly.

alright I finally went to the doctors....said the toe is looking pretty good doesn't think it's infected but put my ass on antibiotics and gave me a tetnis (sp?) shot since I haven't had one in like 8 years. Overall everything feels good except this toe fucking hurts....thanks for the well wishes everyone and hope to be back out there sooner rather then later.

I might be up for a visit...it's not a long drive...probably stop by on saturday when it's not raining so much

Dave, I've got a spare GSXR windshield layng around and some misc bodywork (Most needing minor repairs) if you want it, it's yours.

Damn Dave! You got messed up! Glad nothing is too serious. At least the toe is still on your foot. It will just take some time to heal. Get better and then get back on the bike!

Dave, how did you crash? What kind of protection were you wearing? If you covered this in another thread, I apologize, point me to it, or I'll go looking for it if you say so. ...that is, if you feel like talking about it, but certainly it could help us to learn from what happened to you if you feel like writing it up.

Hope you heal up quick, and good luck getting your bike back together!
