Cakes206 01-11-2006 11:44 PM

Can I just say I'll meet you guys there and just don't show? coughD&Bcough

In all honesty...the show really does suck...been there the past 3 years and each year it progressively gets worse...add OCC, Billy Lane, etc. to the mix...and ya got a show that sucks ya can't move in(like 2 years ago.)

In all honesty, if you were in charge of the show, what changes would you make so that it wouldn't "suck"?

Being I don't need them anymore, you can use my crutches for stilts if it gets too crowded for ya. ;)

Steve i'm down to go on sunday. I want to sit on the new gsxr 600/750 that are coming out.

Plus if there is one chopper builder i want to meet it has to be Matt Hotch of Matt Hotch Designs.

This bike is just freaking SICK!!!

Oh man...where to start...how bout the recockulous wait to get in for even pre paying online...ONE vendor with all the ass-less chaps w/tassles is enough...maaaybe two...and the few vendors that do carry sport bike gear really need to bring more stock...not just their Corona jackets and tactical vests in 15 diff colors...then ya got a new stunt team every 5th booth...its just a mess and gets worse every year.

And about those crutches...you might wanna hold on to them for now, being yer thinkin of gettin another bike and all ;)

tommymac 01-12-2006 10:35 AM

The internet stores is also what made it worse. it used to be good because you coul dgo and try on a lot of stuff and get it for a good price, but now most places have an online store anyway so its not worth it. My friends with tricktape said its not worth the cost to open a booth there anymore. I can see it for the guys doing polishing and custom paint so you can see the stuff in person. For us its just a chance to get out and get together then head to the espn zone again and drink and play games.

Tom

Crystal said your gonna need some help getting on the gixxers....

simmons5 01-17-2006 12:55 PM

I'll be there on Sunday ...But I gotta tell you it was great last year with the snow and the lack of OCC....The year before it was packed with kids and "Arm Chair riders" just waiting to get a $35 tee shirt signed by occ. The best thing to do since OCC is gonna be there is to get ypur tickets online or at the NJ ferry.

Now don't tell me that she is so scared of me that she is making you do the jokes for her. To funny for the pimp of njguido.com

But anyway im rethinking the whole sunday thing. I don't want to fight the huge crowds for OCC. If i do go im gonna be getting there right when they open up. That way i can get my ass back on the weehawken ferry to watch football at home.

I'll let you guys know when it gets close to the weekend.
