FIRST

FDNYDANO18 03-09-2009 05:39 PM

PS : I measured the outside diameter of both the front tire and back tire as compared to Pirelli Diablo SC's...
Front: exactly the same
Rear: Slightly LARGER (Bridgestone)
FYI

FDNYDANO18 03-10-2009 07:31 PM

Here's a pic of the front tire mounted...for those "worried" about the profile...
Seems to round out once mounted and inflated.

In hindsight ..I should measure the diameter of the front now that it's mounted to determine if there is a diference to the SC Pro's

nyskg 03-10-2009 09:48 PM

Which 'stones are those? Anyone ever try the BT002RS? I think they're a more street/track tire, like the Corsa IIIs, etc.

FDNYDANO18 04-09-2009 08:19 PM

003's
Race Tires (DOT legal but should be used exclusively on a racetrack...)

yeah what he says

HondaGalToo 04-10-2009 05:58 AM

Thanks for the info, guys! Tire prices have gone up a lot, and the 002s are a bit less expensive. NESBA is switching from Pirellis to Dunlops this year. Never used Dunlops, I'd probably try them, but I hear better things about Pirelli, Michelin, Bridgestone.... we'll see.

Barbi 04-14-2009 11:40 AM

whadafuk? I need some a dem!!!

Jake 04-17-2009 02:19 PM

How do they compare to the pirelli's?

FDNYDANO18 05-04-2009 06:50 PM

Front feels more planted to me ..but that could be the new suspension...
Rear tire feels exactly the same with better wear...

Drew13 06-08-2009 08:50 AM

I would like to know since I research things before I need it....
I had seen on a web site about Bridgestones BT 003's that it is a good aggressive street tire and track day tire.
It sounds similar to the old Diablo Corsa.
The Corsa were always my favorite and have been looking for that similar type tire.
Is this the tire or are there others that some of you may recommend?
I had the DCIII's on the last bike and I didn't enjoy them.
Weird of me to say and I am not a fan of Dunlop, but their OEM's are actually decent...I was thinking Qualifiers too but with the Dunlop name, I am not too sure I can trust them.

Thanks
