Anyone have any information on any knife shows in the area? Googling in the meantim, TIA.

Joe, the only 1 I know about is the NY Custom Knife Show.
It's always in November, and in Midtown. I have gone to it about 5 times.
There is usually a good mix of vendors, but the real custom stuff gets pretty expensive, fast. I'm not sure what your looking for. I was usually looking for the cheaper, machine made fare.

Benchmade, Spyderco, United Cutlery, Kershaw, Tops, and Emerson are usually there, as well as others. There are some deals to be had, but nothing amazing. If anything you get to meet the makers, and get some hard to find stuff. Its running from Nov. 20-22 this year. I haven't gone in a few years now. Here's the site:

Not surprising... but the great state of ours has some pretty stupid laws regarding knives

how extensive is the beef jerky booth or the hot sauce booth?
