this is a lousy review, it is what it is. if you already have a G1 phone this one is an excellent GPS laptimer app. I mounted the phone on the tank closer to handle bars using velcro and it held well.

a) Use G1's [Any android based phone] Market, to buy the App. [Cost is 5$]
b) Install on G1 Phone.

Follow the link on how to use the app and user guide.

This post is much simpler and easier to understand - http://www.icscc.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3529&postcount=8

I ran this past weekend at NJMP and the application seems to be working great. laptimes are accurate and top speed is a bit off, i probably should
have placed more markers to get a better reading of the speeds.

Since NJMP is not available on google maps yet, and NJMP management didnt let me walk the track so i had to walk right next to track outside and place markers/splits as close as possible to the track, which is excellent enough to get laptimers but NOT great to get accurate splits. I wish i could have placed more markers.
It is very easy to place split markers and once it is done. you are all set and make that circuit/ as default circuit to run. do a few settings and voila your laptimer is ready to use.

Tracks like VIR, summit main, beaverun are already available on google maps. you dont have to walk the track to place markers.
Use google earth, place the markers/splits in 5 minutes on the track, save the file, email it to yourself to gmail.

if anyone wants to use the Thunderbolt split marker file that i created you can download it here. You need google earth on your PC to load it up. or you can email it to yourself on GMAIL and download it to your app direction from there from your G1 Phone.

Now that is a very cool app. I love how it show's your line around the track.

Levi, Can you seperate the laps to show the one line you took from lap to lap and compare times?

Looks like you get a little sloppy at the end of a lap. Prob. thinking about that lunch buffet.
