This is my son's finger in the emergency room...

It was like Whoa...:moocow: It was like...Marcus, what did you do...then it was like...oh shit...i better get his finger out of there.

Looks like a nasty on jase. I hope i tdidint involve th ejoint capsule or sever a flexor tendon looking at how deep that one is.

Yeah Tom...the 2 tendons may have been damaged. From what the dr said, the 1 tendon that connects to the tip may have been damaged the most.

He's scheduled for surgery next Wednesday (4/13)

My mtb is on a bike stand so the wheels are off the ground, so he spun the wheel and tried to pretend that his finger is the brake. So he put his finger on the disc which really sharp and it caught the tip and dragged the rest of his finger in. The rotor cut up his finger...


Last night (4/3) Marcus cut his finger pretty bad messin with my MTB. He has about 25 stitches in his finger and a broken bone...along with some tendon damage. He's scheduled for surgery on Wednesday (4/13) of next week.

Here's an update to his finger.

The dr said that there's not need for surgery for the broken bone in his finger. He also feels that theirs no need for a skin graph. But as far as the tendon is concerned, he still might have to operate for that. It's a good thing that he's young and still growing, that helps alot.

Below is the pic of what caused the damage. His finger got caught between the rotor and the black piece that is on the other side. The place that I've circled is a piece of his flesh.
