i know this i gonna sound funny comming from me but here i go

trying to look up diffrent points in the engine of a 2000-2003 gsxr 750 where a seal can fail and let the oil mix with the coolant....

ok here is my problem....recently purchased a bike from a person who was running full water in the bike all yr...the used to be a racebike..i know this because of all the saftey wired bolts...

well needless to say the guy left full water in it over winter..:nopity:

and i am trying to locate where the freezout plugs are in the engine if there are any..i never dealt with the water mixing with my oil

been trying to find a schematic on it but just cant:ohmygod:

just wondering if any one knows about this

thank you in advance:lol:

How much water is in the oil? It may just be condensation. It's a known issue with gixxers.

Not to say there arent any out there, but I never seen a bike engine with a freeze out plug. Usually, if it freezes, it will crack the cyl. head, rupture a hose, split the radiator, that type of thing. Like RCM78 stated, make sure it isnt just condensation first.

I know the water pump and oil pump share the same shaft, I'm guessing there has to be some seals in between. Not sure if that can be an issue or not...just thinking out loud.
