That sucks, if its any consolation my wrenching day didnt go very well either. Got the exhaust springs off and cant get the damn midpipe to separate from the headers:banghead: so now I will drink a beer and take a nap.

Cobalt(sp?) bits...don't even bother with regular bits. Self tapping center punch is also a good thing to have, help start the bit.

I used Dewalt titanium split point bits. Like butter I tell ya, butter!
The R6 was easy. I paid Ron.

the key is to be sure to go straight and easy, to keep the bit from bending/breaking.
though I understand you have a hard time going straight! :)

3/32 bits and use a drill press. 20 sec is all it takes to go clean through a brake caliper bolt.
