whats up people i was told about this site from i am going to guess the admin or owner of the site. i have been looking for a local motorcycle forum just to shott the breeze and look for events to go! so a little about me. I am 31 and i live in the poconos pa. i have been a yamaha fan for a while do to my dad. he owned the 90 fzr1000 which he use to call the beast. he felt he was to old to ride sport bikes and he was going to sell it but since he took such good care of it i sold my vfr750 to buy it off my dad. so i had the bike now for 9 years and i can't find it in my heart to sell it

So back last year i wanted a new bike everyone and there moms was showing up with new bikes and i felt jealous not going to lie :D So i went shopping online looking for an r1 i saw a raven in person and i fell in love with it! so i searched high and low and sure enough i found a dude that was going to jail and needed money asap he had an 05 r1 raven with 5200 miles on it and all stock. he wanted 8000. i called him and told him i had 6300 cash and can come get it the next day. i went to see it and he rubbed it on his atv he had there and i knocked off the 300 so i came home with an 05 raven r1

i also have 3 cars one civic (daily driver) swapped b18b 38 mpg :D my wifes integra LS speical edition and what i call my RX5.7 (yes it has a v8 in it) look foward to seeing some new faces soon!

thanks for the welcome! i am doing a ton of work to the bike and i didn't even wash my hands yet to say hi go you guys :D check the link in my sig to see the work i have done to my bike and i am going to update shaun's 05 raven tonight with the work i did today :)
So which bike is getting tracked out? :D

good to know do you guys go to that bike night over at the chatter box? do you guys know where harmony township school is? thats where i work on tuesdays and thursdays
lol funny thing is i work right in harmony so i am sure you might see my bikes sitting there at the school :D
I go through Harmony to go to work so I will keep an eye out for the bikes. :)

Sax goes to the Chatterbox regularly, I havent in about 3-4 yrs. Harmony school is only about 3-4 miles from my house.

Good call on not selling that bike. Sentimental + old school always make for a good mix. If I had the room, I would have more than one bike, but I figure I'll just go back and buy my first bike later on when I add a garage the size of my house.
I'm more interested in that V8 RX-7... kind of defeats the whole "RX", but the gas mileage is probably the same, lol. idk about 2nd gen RX7's, but my bro's RX8 was a gas guzzler for that WHOPPING 200hp.

its been a while working 3 jobs i don't check all the sites much anymore. but i am back..lol
as for my rx7 i am at 303hp 361tq and i get just shy of 28mpg and i get 12.2 in the 1/4 :D so i think that taking the rotary out was a really good move :D and thank about the raven i have not rode it much this year just seems to be so dam cold to me!

i have no idea where d &d is but i know i was going to go this thursday i was trying to get some people together to go. i am going to be at harmony on thursday so we can meet up around there and travel down to where ever you need to meet up with people and go from there

I'm coming up from Piscataway, so to run out to there and back track to H-town is a viable solution. D&Din Hackettstown is on Mountain ave. You can take 57 or 46 into hackettstown.
