Us people from CT are a bit slow, my apologies haha.

I guess I'll stop whoring other threads until I introduce myself here Doug. :p

So can anyone give me a "matter of fact" run down on CF, SBA, and **** relationship/history and why this site exists? Too many damn sites to keep up on with u NorthEast riders! hehe.

Anyway, I ride a naked franken bike Blue 00' SV650. Bought it for track only still getting used to it, but it's very good for a newbie. I've done 4 trackdays (well 3.5 with the rain killing last Sunday) and I now will be in the Red group going forward. I've ridden on the street for a couple of years and am moving more towards taking my fast street riding to the track as I can't get the level of excitement from street riding any more due to my risk tolerance. I could ride as fast as I do on the track but that doesn't mean I can handle the road hazards at those speed.

I've owned:
1984 Honda Nighthawk S (x2)
1997 Katana 750
1994 ZX-11 (dumbest bike I ever owned, stupid decision.)
2002 Sprint ST
2002 Sprint RS
Current:
1999 YZF600r
1997 St1100
2000 SV650

Besides my St1100 for touring with the GF, I keep buying smaller and smaller bikes hehe. My YZF600r is going up for sale in the spring I bet. I just don't use it anywhere near it's capabilities on the street anymore. I have fun chasing down sportbikes on the ST1100 two-up with luggage hehe. Maybe I'll sell both bike and get a Vstrom DL1000 as a do-everything street bike. We'll c.

I enjoy long wknd trips. I've done four of them this year. One to WV, One to Stowe, VT and two to Deals Gap area. About 2000+ miles each trips. Those will continue, but on the st1100 and more trackdays this year. :)

My local riding crew...one that is quickly becoming addicted to trackdays (we brought 14 riders to 8/27 PIR), is call Sportbikes of NYC:

Join up and say hi!

Thanks for the warm welcome.
