PC to Internet connection issue

Recently, I'll use my pc online for a while then if I wait an hour or more and try to reconnect it will state the connection was not found, but if I restart the pc it connects to the net. Sometimes it will also state that it has timed out and won't connect to a web page. I've run my spyware and afterwards I'll still have the problem. Anyone have a solution for this?

Connection: Mozilla & DSL with a Westell 2200 router.

Anti-Spyware: Lavasoft, Spybot, SpywareBlaster.
