I'd definitely go with the LCD over Plasma, but I also think Pioneer is too pricey. I have the Sharp Aquos 42 1080p and love it!!

Out of those choices I would take the 60" pioneer.

The only thing Plasma has over LCD is the blacks plasma can show. LCD has plasma beat everywhere else

I disagree.. The refresh rates are still not as fast on a LCD.
Color accuracy, viewing angles, cost/production size, and contrast as mentioned are all better then LCD.

At the moment plasma has the better picture quality. But most manufacturers are developing LCD technology. So the future is in LCD.

I have a Sony Bravia LCD flatpanel. The viewing angle is 178 degrees, and the blacks rival a good plasma. It was also significantly cheaper then a compareable plasma at the time.

LCD may be the future but right now plasma is better.
