I hope they fixed the memory management. I've been running the beta for a month or so on my laptop and it seems fine, but I just installed it on my work machine and it's using 120 megs already.

i did a firebug addon, on FF 2.x and it is a memory hog. hopefully wont be the case with the new version.

Yea and the resources it uses is outta control, 3 tabs open up to 100K.

I use firebug constantly, it's the only reason I still have FF installed on my mac. But on windows, I only use FF. There is a FF3 version of firebug available through the addons menu, the current version doesn't auto update to the FF3 version.

yea added the firebug, seems ok so far, i have a few heavy weight applets loaded and ajax scripts running on my firefox, seems to be ok for now, i'd rather deal with memory than banging my head on finding that javascript or a TD error

So far I noticed ctrl+t and ctrl+w don't always open/close a tab. Some times it works fine, other times it doesn't do anything (yes, the window is focused).

I left it open all night and it's only up to 150 megs. With ff2 it would be around 500 megs about now.
